For this model I created a simple animation of the saw blade spinning, the animation was really simple, I just rotated the blase 360 degrees over 120 frames, then I opened the animation curve editor and make the curve linear so the blade didn't appear to slow down and speed up when looping.

Animation Sets

This model was made using Maya 2017 and Substance Painter 2.

Originally I was planning to make a baseball bat with nails through it, however I found that a lot of other people had already made similar models so I changed my design to a saw blade, the model was created, unwrapped and animated in Maya 2017 then textured using PBR materials in Substance Painter 2.

I am thinking of making some first person animations for this model so that it could be used in a game.

Salvages Saw Blade Bat

This is a concept for a salvaged weapon that could be used for a post apocalyptic zombie survival game, the inspiration for this mode is drawn from the game series Dead Rising. The weapon is made from a baseball bat and a circular saw blade.
